Open the doors. Everything works.

GoLive Kit is day-one technology for professional firms at a launch moment: a new practice, a new office, a merger or a move. We plan back from your opening date so email, devices, network and security are live and locked down the morning you open.

  1. T‑30 days Plan

Discovery, inventory and the decisions that shape everything after.

  2. T‑21 to T‑7 Build

Domain, tenant, devices and network built. Migration dry run.

  3. Day one Go live

Cutover overnight. Our team on site and on call when the doors open.

  4. Days 1 to 30 Settle

Tune, train and close the gaps a real week of work turns up.

  5. After day 30 Ongoing care

Handed over to KDTS managed security and IT.

Built for launch moments

For established people starting something new, usually with ten to a hundred and fifty staff and clients who expect continuity. Not for a founder at the kitchen table.

  • Partners starting a new firm

Accounting, law, wealth management or engineering partners leaving to open their own practice, with five to fifty people expecting a working laptop on the first morning.

  • A new or second office

Opening another location, or moving the whole firm across town. Internet, Wi-Fi, cabling, printers and a cutover that happens over a weekend, not during one.

  • Spin-outs, mergers and rebrands

A new domain, a tenant split or merge, and every mailbox, file and calendar moved without clients noticing anything except the new name.

  • Office moves

Same firm, new address. Network, cabling, Wi-Fi, printers and the internet cutover, sequenced so Monday morning looks like Friday afternoon.

What’s in the kit

Ten modules, scoped to your launch. Most firms need all of them. Some already have a few, and we fit around what’s there.

The kit in detail

  • Domain and DNS

Your domain on Cloudflare, set up properly, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC in place before the first email goes out.

  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace

A tenant built to the KDTS security standard: MFA, separate admin accounts, sensible sharing defaults and backup from the first mailbox.

  • Devices

Laptops and desktops sourced, enrolled and secured before anyone unboxes them: endpoint security, patching and DNS filtering on from the start.

  • Office network

Business internet, firewall, Wi-Fi, cabling coordination and printers, ready the morning you open.

  • Email and file migration

Mail, calendars, contacts and files moved from the old firm or system, with a dry run first so the real cutover is boring.

  • Email signatures

Brand-matched signatures for everyone, managed centrally so they stay consistent.

  • Website

A clean, fast, professional website through KDTS Web, live on the same day as everything else.

  • Starter policies

Plain-language acceptable use, MFA, backup and incident response policies to adopt on day one.

  • Cyber insurance readiness

Controls in place so the questions on your cyber insurance application can be answered with a straight “yes”.

  • Hand-off to KDTS

After day 30, the same people keep looking after you through KDTS managed security and IT.

What day one looks like when IT is an afterthought

Composites, lightly exaggerated. Not by much. Every one of them is avoidable with a plan and a few weeks’ notice.

  • The announcement goes out at nine. Email on the new domain starts working at four.Every client who replied in between got a bounce.
  • The internet circuit was ordered three weeks ago. The install date is three weeks from now.Everyone works from the coffee shop downstairs on its guest Wi-Fi.
  • The first fifteen invoices go straight to clients’ junk folders.Nobody published SPF, DKIM or DMARC for a domain that was registered last Tuesday.
  • One partner’s personal Gmail is the owner of the firm’s domain. That partner is on a beach. The registrar wants a code sent to their phone.
  • The insurer asks whether MFA is enforced for all users.Someone answers “yes” on the basis that it was mentioned once.
  • The printer works. For one person. On Thursdays.Nobody knows why, and nobody can find the admin password.

The best launch day is the one nobody talks about afterward.
